Tim and Jill Downing launched Downing Farms LLC in 2009 with dreams of fresh produce and happy livestock. As full-time educators, we leased some property and began a part time operation. After years of growing, we moved our family and expanded the farm to our current location in 2014. Since then we have been happily serving Cabarrus and Rowan counties with sustainably grown produce and poultry. 

All of our produce is sustainably grown by us, without the use of chemical pesticides or herbicides. All of our plants are NON GMO and animals are naturally raised. 

It is the mission of Downing Farms LLC to provide quality locally grown foods, educational  experiences, and reasonably priced fresh produce and poultry for the Piedmont region.
